Stephanie Damgaard is Communications Associate with bci, a role that encompasses all marketing and communications activities of the firm. Stephanie has extensive experience in communications and project management across a range of areas and brings an adaptable, creative mindset to the firm.
Prior to joining bci, Stephanie spent several years in the arts and culture sector, including five festival seasons at the Vancouver International Film Festival where she managed the Canadian film program. Upon relocating to Toronto, Stephanie took on a fundraising role in support of educational projects at the Walrus Foundation, including The Walrus, Canada’s most-honoured magazine.
Stephanie graduated with a B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of British Columbia, where she studied art history with a focus on feminist art practices and contemporary work by Canadian First Nations artists. She also studied studio art at the University of Saskatchewan, receiving major scholarships from the Department of Art and Art History throughout her studies.
Stephanie hails from western Canada, and has lived in nine different cities across four countries. When she is not communicating on behalf of bci, Stephanie can be found reading world literature, writing, travelling, and practicing yoga.
